In line with the Government’s promotion of life science industries, last decade saw influx of multinational food and drug companies investing in new research and production facilities in Tuas area. SOE had the opportunity to participate in some of these new investments including Wyeth Pharmaceutical Pharma Plant, Schering-Plough Biotech and Tablet facilities, Pfizer Pharmaceutical Infrastructure, Abbott Nutritional Milk Powder Plant, etc.
Construction of these facilities complied with GMP procedures, FDA guidelines, FM requirements and international clean room installation methods for production areas.
Our scope of work in these facilities include HT and LT distribution, transformers, generators, LT MSB, MCC, BMS cabling, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Security system, IT, telephone system, UPS, VFD, etc. We were also involved in production machine hook up, automation implementation, wireless Human-Machine interfacing, etc.
We were also involved in construction of industrial estates such as Paya Ubi Industrial Park, Kaki Bukit Industrial Park, Gemplus Semiconductor plant, to name a few.
